Most single-person treatments take 1-1.5 hours. Actual treatment time will vary depending on hair length, thickness, and severity of infestation. 

I recommend everyone in the home be present for the appointment. If one person has head lice, chances are someone else in the home does too - and it's not always who you'd expect. The person who first showed symptoms isn't always "patient zero." A full household check catches what a single check might miss.

Good to Know

• 1-hour minimum applies per visit, regardless of treatment length

• Additional time beyond the first hour is billed in 15-minute increments

• As every appointment requires a one hour minimum, payment for the first hour of service is required upon confirmation. 

• Every child is different, and that's okay. Some children sit still right away; others need more patience, breaks, or a slower pace - especially the first time they've been treated for lice. When someone needs a break, I can often start or continue treating another family member in the meantime, so we're making good use of time either way.
